Longevity Consulting Branding

Longevity Consulting is an Information Technology solutions based, full service, IT strategy organization. At the start of the project, they’d recently acquired a SBA 8(a) small business certification and were looking to brand their organization and distribute marketing materials to potential clients.

I was hired to brand and design the materials and I worked with a PR company to write the content. The branding included the following:

Tri-fold brochure

The brochure served as a marketing and promotional piece listing services and highlight positive client feedback. It was also designed to serve as a promotional mailer.

Fact Sheet

The fact sheet served as a high-level one-page overview of Longevity and their services.

Capabilities Statement

The capabilities statement provided a detailed list of services offered and included NAICS codes, the SBA 8(a) certification details, purchasing information, and a client list.

Motorola US Online Store

Below are screenshots of branding and product merchandising I designed when working on the US Motorola online store while working at Digital River. Consulting included landing page redesign, cross-product merchandising strategy, pop-up cart exit survey development and design, navigation reorganization, and visual template layout design.

Northwestern University IT Site Redesign

The Original Design

The design did not reflect Northwestern University branding.
The site was in table format and not W3C compliant.
Content overload and poor use of graphics throughout the site. Users were unable to identify themselves on the site, and navigate to information relevant to them.
Site hadn’t been updated in over 5 years.
The site is a service-driven site, however services and navigation weren’t clearly organized.

The Redesign & Site Improvements

Branding: the site reflects Northwestern University colors and images.
W3C Compliance: Table design was removed, and CSS styles were applied.
Unified Design: Departments within the organization were anxious to receive training and migrate content to the new site.
Social Media: The site now has RSS feeds, Blog capabilities, a YouTube campaign video, podcasts, webinars and more.
Content Reviewed: Organized home page, deleted legacy documentation and content.
Added “Mobility” Section
Improved navigation: There’s a consistent header and footer throughout the site.
